About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Used Vehicle Sales and Disposal Specialist to join our team at Thrifty Car & Van Rental.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and manage disposal plans for all vehicles, ensuring they are strategically offered for sale across multiple channels to maximize sales opportunities and residual value.

This includes monitoring and progressing vehicle sales within Service Level Agreements (SLA) across multiple sales channels, analysing market trends and vehicle movements, and recommending pricing strategies and disposal channels to the Director.

In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and formatting pricing files for presentation to the Board of Directors, as well as performing additional ad-hoc tasks as required by the Line Manager.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong tenacity in ensuring vehicles are promptly offered to market
  • Experience or interest in the automotive industry, particularly used vehicles, manufacturers and models
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong data analysis skills to identify trends and errors
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to our comprehensive fleet, opportunities for career development, and a dynamic and supportive work environment.
