About the Role

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Registrar to join our Care of the Elderly team. As a Trust Registrar, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring rehabilitation and acute care.
  • Work collaboratively with the Specialty Doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other clinical activities to promote effective communication and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure smooth transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
