About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tendering Engineer to join our team at Eden Scott. As a Tendering Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing tendering and proposal activities from initial inquiry to post-contract completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective tendering strategies to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate costing models, project schedules, and other proposal-related documents.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to internal stakeholders throughout the tendering process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in proposal writing, project management, and client relations, particularly in the offshore oil & gas or renewables sectors.
  • Strong understanding of cost modeling, pricing strategies, and budget management.
  • Knowledge of engineering scopes, manufacturing, mechanical components, hydraulic and electric systems.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking proposals and managing client relationships.
  • Degree in a relevant engineering or business field.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organisational skills.
