Job Summary

Realty Income is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lease Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our international acquisitions team, you will be responsible for abstracting and interpreting complex commercial lease language from standard and non-standard lease agreements for international properties under acquisition consideration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Abstract accurate information from complex leases and related legal documents, including revenue information, lease parties, and risk-related non-financial clauses.
  • Accurately input determinations into a custom database for import into Yardi for audit approval and ultimate consumption by other departments.
  • Coordinate and communicate critical information with the international Legal Acquisitions department to ensure timely completion of abstraction to meet closing deadlines.
  • Work with various other departments to ensure relevant data is available for reporting and action upon the close of the transaction.

Requirements
  • Previous experience analyzing and abstracting various UK and European commercial real estate leases.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce desired.
  • Bilingual or multi-lingual a plus (English, Spanish, Italian).
  • Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as leases, REAs, and similar documents and provide abstracts.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the international commercial real estate administration industry and/or paralegal field; having worked in either the Landlord or Tenant sector is a plus.
