Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our team at FOSTER CARE ASSOCIATES SCOTLAND (FCAS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to our foster care clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert social work services to foster care clients, including assessment, planning, and review.
  • Supervise and support a team of social workers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with foster carers, birth families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure best practice in social work.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with significant experience in foster care.
  • Proven track record of providing high-quality social work services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
