We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at WR Engineering and Manufacturing, a leading global engineering corporation. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the OEMs sector.

The company designs and manufactures a wide range of engineering components used in various industries, including automotive, materials handling, machine builders, and industrial engineering.

The Role

As a Technical Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Selling high-value orders to OEMs and manufacturers throughout various industries.
  2. Identifying new business opportunities and visiting clients regularly.
  3. Working closely with your sales manager to develop sales strategies and grow your patch.
  4. Solutions selling non-standard products and a comprehensive range of off-the-shelf products.
  5. Receiving full product training and support from a global manufacturer.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject.
  2. Sales experience: Field sales experience preferred, but we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales.
  3. A proactive approach to generating new business.
  4. Beneficial knowledge: One of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, engineered metal or rubber components.
  5. A full UK driving licence.

£40K salary, with the potential to earn up to £48K with commission.
