Job Description

We are looking for a Lead IC Engineer for Radar Systems to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance RF ICs using deep sub-micron technologies.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, including antenna technology for broadband mobility, satellite communications, and IoT applications. You will collaborate closely with layout, test teams, systems, antenna, and hardware teams to ensure timely delivery of leading ASICs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing transmitter and receiver blocks in Ku/Ka band using deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
  • Hands-on block-level design of various RF blocks such as PA, LNA, VGA, Phase shifters, Power Splitters/combiners
  • Technical leadership and mentoring of junior RF IC Designers
  • Delivering high-quality RF/Analog blocks with leading-edge performance using innovative architectures and circuit implementations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing RF ICs in deep sub-micron technologies
  • Chip lead experience in 2 or more successful tape-outs
  • Experience in 22nm FDSOI or other sub-45nm CMOS process nodes for RF/High-speed ICs and/or experience in mmW/RF IC design, LNA design, and RF PAs
