Senior Radar Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to oversee the development of radar systems and projects at Matchtech. This key position involves various responsibilities, including system-level design, architecture, and installation.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers in designing, developing, analysing, and implementing system-level solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed system diagrams and technical documentation.
- Work with formal system requirements to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, a degree or equivalent qualification in a numerate subject, and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, collaborate effectively with other engineers and end users, and appreciate multiple engineering disciplines.
Candidates should also possess hands-on experience with system hardware and software, as well as experience in a customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
- System-level design, architecture, and Installation.
- Supervising and assisting with radar development trials and customer demonstrations.
- Implementing and delivering completed solutions.
- Working hands-on with radars and supporting systems as required.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The location is South of Cambridge in a semi-rural area, with occasional travel required. A driver's license is considered beneficial.
