We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our Commercial team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our commercial and procurement teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the commercial and procurement teams, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Assist with the preparation of enquiry packs and collation of tender information for procurement purposes.
  • Issue Health and Safety Contractor Competency Questionnaires for new contractors and analyze sub-contractor weekly and monthly applications for payment.
  • Prepare interim payments for measured work for approval by Quantity Surveyors and issue contra-charges as appropriate.
  • Process and issue sub-contract orders for approval by Quantity Surveyors and perform general office duties, including accurate collation and storage of information.
  • Administer applications from utility companies and NHBC home registrations and deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience of working within a busy and fast-paced administration role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and work to deadlines.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
