About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Systems Engineer to join our team at KCP Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining functional and secure networks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new network solutions to improve network efficiency and security
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Configure and deploy functional networks, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN
  • Analyze and diagnose network problems for various users
  • Perform network audits and WiFi surveys
  • Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
  • Monitor network performance and integrity
  • Resolve issues escalated by support teams
  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
  • Mentor team members on technical issues and support for network deployments

Requirements

  • Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator
  • Professional certification desirable (e.g. CCNA)
  • Solid background in network administration and architecture
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP)
  • Experience in managing and supporting WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routers, and Switches and troubleshooting these devices
  • Server OS administration Windows Servers
  • Microsoft Exchange (Install/Configure/troubleshooting)
  • Windows desktop (Install/Configure/troubleshooting)
  • Good Knowledge and Experience of SCCM
  • Group and policy management
  • Azure/Intune/Autopilot, Active Directory, Azure AD
  • Experience Installing, terminating, testing, and fault-finding network cabling
  • Experience installing network cabinets and network equipment
  • Hands-on experience with PC/server hardware, switches, routers
  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
  • Sharp troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organizational and mentoring skills
  • Full Clean Valid UK Driving License
  • Right to work in the UK (valid working visa)
