Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a dynamic tuition centre in Haringey, North London.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates in Maths, Science, English Language, or English Literature to gain hands-on experience supporting students aged 14+ with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering and covering lessons
  • Provide personalised academic support to help students achieve their goals
  • Work closely with teachers to tailor learning approaches for students with diverse needs
  • Support and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and strategies for improvement
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements
  • A degree in Maths, Science, English Language, or English Literature
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students and teachers
  • Passionate about education and ready to learn new skills
  • No prior SEND experience required - just a willingness to develop and grow in this area
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through TimePlan Education
