Educational Support Specialist

Future Education is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Guildford, Surrey.
About the Role:We are looking for a passionate and patient teacher who can deliver engaging Science lessons up to GCSE level for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours.
- Plan and deliver Science lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of our students.
- Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and foster a supportive environment where students feel safe to explore and ask questions.
- Work closely with other staff to track progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, preferably in SEN or SEMH settings.
- A strong understanding of SEMH and behaviour management strategies.
- Patience, resilience, and an empathetic approach to supporting students with additional needs.
- Experience in teaching Science and adapting curriculum content to make learning accessible and engaging for students with SEMH needs.
