Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our STICK team, a pioneering Early Help Mental Health team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and individual and group mental health interventions to young people aged 5-18 years old.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with a caseload of children and young people, providing therapeutic brief intervention within schools/educational settings.
- Collaborate with STICK colleagues to provide creative interventions and support groups.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with professionals, parents, and carers to ensure seamless care and support.
- Contribute to the auditing and improvement cycles of the service, ensuring high-quality care and outcomes.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RSCN, RMN, RNLD), Therapist (must be accredited), Occupational Therapist, or registered social worker.
- Significant experience working with children and families in a Health, Educational, or Social care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse professionals and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and understanding of Right Time Right Service Framework.
- Ability to work within complex organisations/systems and contribute to the auditing and improvement cycles of the service.
