About the Role

This rewarding opportunity as a SEN Support Worker/ Teaching Assistant allows you to make a meaningful difference in the life of Thomas, a 12-year-old boy who loves the outdoors and laughter. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will provide consistent, holistic support to enhance his communication skills, physical health, and overall well-being.

You will work closely with a therapy team, including a physiotherapist and Speech and Language Therapist, to develop and implement a rehabilitation plan that meets Thomas' unique needs. Twice a week, you will assist him at home after school, supporting daily activities and household duties like meal preparation.

The role also involves accompanying Thomas on short breaks/holidays, either in the UK or abroad, providing additional care and support when needed. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing environment that promotes Thomas' independence and development.
