**About Hanover**

Hanover is a leading insurance company seeking a highly skilled actuarial professional to lead our risk management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business.

**Key Responsibilities**

As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Deriving risk appetite and tolerances for our managed syndicates and managing agency
  • Producing key documentation to support risk management objectives, including strategy documents, policies, and risk registers
  • Assisting with the governance of our capital model
  • Applying and overseeing risk mitigation strategies
  • Reporting on risk matters, including initial build-out, monitoring against appetite, production of ORSA reports, capital adequacy assessments, emerging risks, and risk events
  • Regulatory reporting, including ORSA
  • Regularly reviewing our risk framework to ensure best practices are being employed

**What We're Looking For**

We're open to a variety of qualifications, but a Fellow or Associate of the IFOA would be ideal. Those who have paused their exams are also welcome to apply. Lloyd's experience is essential, either in a consulting capacity or as an in-house actuary.
