Nursing Deputy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Deputy Manager to join our client's care home team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of nurses and carers in providing exceptional care to residents.
  • Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans to promote overall well-being.
  • Take on operational responsibilities, including managing staff and maintaining high care standards.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth running of the care home.

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC pin with advanced clinical skills and experience in elderly care.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality care and a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrated personal and professional development since registration, highlighting continuous learning.
  • Experience in a leadership role, with proven ability to manage staff and maintain high care standards.
  • Background in elderly care, particularly in dementia or end-of-life care.
  • Proficient in electronic care planning systems (preferably PCS) to ensure accurate, person-centered care plans.
