Medsolve is seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Deputy Manager to join their team at their home in Bishop Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the manager in the management, coordination, and development of quality therapeutic services for young people residing at the home.
The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership and communication background, with a minimum of one year's experience in Residential Children's Social Care, ideally as a senior support worker. They will also have a working knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and therapeutic backgrounds, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches.
Key Skills and Attributes- Experience in Residential Children's Social Care with a minimum of one year's experience, ideally as a senior support worker.
- Understanding of Trauma Informed Care and therapeutic backgrounds.
- Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ diploma in Residential Childcare.
- UK Driving License.
- Confidence and understanding of The Children's Home Regulations and all legislation associated with the running of a registered Children's Home.
- Ability to challenge, guide, and mentor staff.
- Clear DBS and positive references from previous employers.
