About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at The Greyhound Nr Wootton, Oxford. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, driving food culture, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control.

About You

We are looking for a previous experience in catering and hospitality in a restaurant, gastro pub, or hotel at junior sous, sous, or kitchen manager level. A positive attitude and ability to work alongside the Head Chef are essential.
