Aerodynamics Engineer - Summer Placement 2025

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Aerodynamics Engineer to join our team for a 10-week summer placement. As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design and develop missiles, apply and develop bespoke tools, and work on stealth, propulsion, thermal, and structural aspects of missile design.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop missiles in various stages of development, from concept to in-service.
  • Apply and develop bespoke tools alongside commercial software to evaluate the performance of airframes.
  • Work on stealth, propulsion, thermal, and structural aspects of missile design and foster a multi-disciplinary design approach.
  • Integrate missiles onto land, naval, and air platforms.
  • Assess the impact of solid rocket motors and air-breathing engines on missile aerodynamics and overall performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Currently studying towards a Degree in Aerospace engineering, Aeronautical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Production/Manufacturing engineering, Mathematics, or Physics discipline.
  • Aerodynamics and propulsion-based modules are most relevant to this role.
