Aerodynamics Engineer Opportunity

MBDA is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Aerodynamics Engineer. This 10-month undergraduate placement offers a unique opportunity to apply your university learning to real-world engineering projects and technologies.

About the Role

This placement will provide you with the chance to work on exciting aerodynamics projects, collaborating with a team of experienced engineers. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in aerodynamics and propulsion, and contribute to the design and development of missiles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your knowledge of aerodynamics and propulsion to real-world engineering projects
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to design and develop missiles
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerodynamic techniques
  • Undertake a placement that exposes you to various areas of aerodynamics, including application and development of bespoke tools, design of missiles, and integration onto land, naval, and air platforms
Requirements
  • Currently studying towards a Degree in an Aerospace engineering, Aeronautical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Production/Manufacturing engineering, Mathematics or Physics discipline
  • Aerodynamics and propulsion based modules are most relevant to this role
