Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our UK Management Team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our global supply chain.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services. You will also be responsible for managing production planning and associated requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
  • Managing production planning and associated requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and mitigating risks through the Supply Chain.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

  • CIPS, or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field or Qualified by experience, minimum 5-10 years' experience.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years + with a strategic global mindset.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting supplier partnerships.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software, Excel and Inhouse MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
