Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective planning and organisation of NDT inspection activities
  • Delivering NDT work scopes efficiently, competently, within budget, and in accordance with company procedures
  • Assisting in the preparation of Inspection proposals, NDT CTRs, and CAPEX requirements
  • Providing technical support to all projects and assisting with client integrity challenges or technical queries
  • Conducting site visits (onshore and offshore) to supervise, audit, and support onsite NDT delivery
  • Providing technical support with respect to the development, validation, and implementation of new technology, techniques, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Ten years of experience in the delivery of both conventional and advanced NDT methods covering in-service and newly fabricated products
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 UT, PA & TOFD Minimum
  • Detailed knowledge of common integrity challenges within the renewables and Oil and Gas sector
  • Detailed knowledge of the advantages and limitations of conventional and advanced NDT methods
  • HNC or higher qualification in an engineering subject
  • Experienced in the organisation and supervision of inspection/NDT workscopes
  • Strong commercial awareness
