Surveyor - Asset Inspection Specialist

Job Purpose
As a Surveyor at LRQA, you will be responsible for assessing the design, manufacture, and in-service aspects of engineering assets against agreed codes, standards, specifications, and procedures. Your expertise will be utilized to provide advice for service delivery within agreed parameters, including budget constraints and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections/assessments against defined specifications/scope and provide advice for service delivery within agreed parameters.
- Produce reports/certificates/documents to an agreed format and within agreed timescales.
- Undertake and maintain agreed personal authorisations, follow up training plans, perform activity monitoring/document monitoring, and pursue continuous professional development.
- Conduct all activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Appropriate trade/technical/vocational qualifications/certification, including job-specific certifications such as ASME, PED, etc.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree from a recognized University (HNC/HND will be considered depending on level of experience).
- Sufficient, relevant previous working experience to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the relevant requirements, knowledge, and application (Welding, Fabrication, Materials, Machinery, Well Control Equipment, etc.).
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Competent in MS Office suite of software.
