About the Position

We are seeking a Financial Crime Prevention Officer to join our team at MS Amlin. The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a compliance function within the General Insurance (GI) sector or consultancy experience in this space.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Compliance plans and mandate. They will work closely with our Risk and Compliance Leadership Team to ensure that regulatory considerations are integrated into our day-to-day activities.

As a Financial Crime Prevention Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing timely and high-quality advice and challenge to stakeholders across the business on regulatory considerations.
  • Building positive relationships with peers across the business to ensure that regulatory considerations are integrated into our day-to-day activities.
  • Working with our Senior Managers to undertake thematic compliance monitoring reviews and report on findings to relevant committees and working groups.
  • Providing training and support to the business on regulatory affairs, advising and leading through change.
  • Supporting the production of Compliance papers for our committees and working groups.

What you'll need:

  • Solid experience of working in a compliance function within the GI sector and/or consultancy experience in this space.
  • Working knowledge of the activities of a second or third line function within the Financial Services sector.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and verbally.
