About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Planning Enforcement Officer to join our Development Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting plans, conducting site visits, and assessing development proposals and possible breaches of planning control. As a Planning Enforcement Officer, you will provide advice to applicants and negotiate on planning applications and enforcement matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect plans and conduct site visits to assess development proposals and possible breaches of planning control.
  • Provide advice to applicants and negotiate on planning applications and enforcement matters.
  • Assess development proposals and recommend the most appropriate course of action.
  • Draft reports for submission to planning committees or others.
  • Prepare statements and other material for appeals and prosecutions.
