Plant Manager

TQR is seeking a highly skilled Plant Manager - Technical Support to join their team in Plymouth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the production team, ensuring optimal performance of plant and equipment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of safety procedures, and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the production team to ensure optimal performance of plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults using CNC Controls and PLC Ladder logic.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Liaise with production staff to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements:
- A recognized maintenance apprenticeship coupled with relevant academic qualifications within an engineering discipline.
- Proven experience working as a maintenance engineer, fault finding using CNC Controls, and rectifying faults.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £32,643 (inclusive of 20% shift premium).
- A rotating shift schedule including Monday to Friday 06:00am to 14:00pm and Monday to Friday 14:00pm to 22:00pm.
