About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse/ODP to join our Interventional Radiology team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services in our Radiology Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Consultant Radiologists in interventional procedures, including vascular, renal, urological, gastric, and biliary interventions.
  • Support the Senior Sister in managing the interventional lists and ensuring adequate skill mix and list utilization.
  • Participate in providing a high standard of research-based patient care within the Radiology Department.
  • Provide advice and support to the team of staff working in all interventional areas, including Admission and Recovery.

Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse on part 1 or 2 of the NMC Register.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and ability to produce an updated personal professional portfolio.
  • Experience of post-registration and working in an acute setting.
  • Practical experience in a Radiology Department, procedural experience in areas such as Theatres or Endoscopy, and scrub experience.
