The Foxtons Property Management and Lettings Support department is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Credit Control and Rent Collection Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring timely payment of rent from tenants and maintaining excellent relationships with landlords.
Key Responsibilities:- Contact tenants to determine the reason for outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Obtain data on debt collection and invoice payments to ensure accurate records.
- Ensure deadlines are met to prevent court proceedings and maintain a smooth process.
- Attend court proceedings as required to provide evidence and support.
- Communicate effectively with landlords to keep them informed of payment status and provide clear explanations of procedures.
- Maintain active communication with the Finance team to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic accounting knowledge and ability to understand financial concepts.
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
