We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality care, support, and accommodation to young people with autism.

Our client is a well-established charity that provides a unique and sustainable setting for young people with complex needs. The organization has a strong focus on providing a holistic and integrated approach to care, and we are looking for someone who shares this vision.

The successful candidate will have significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management. They will also have the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.

The role will involve overseeing and supervising the residential staff within two or more small care homes, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all activities within the households are carried out in compliance with regulations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with autism. If you have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence, and are able to work collaboratively with the Head of Residential and R.I to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspections, then we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality care, support, and accommodation to young people with autism.
  • Oversee and supervise the residential staff within two or more small care homes.
  • Ensure that all activities within the households are carried out in compliance with regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Residential and R.I to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections by the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspections.
Requirements:
  • Significant operational experience in a care environment working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.
  • High level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with CIW and Social Care Wales.
