About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our care services in Pembrokeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people with autism and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CIW and County Council requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Residential and RI to reflect the quality of the service provided during inspections.
  • Oversee and supervise the residential staff, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supported.
Requirements
  • Significant operational experience in a care environment, working with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and be a team player with experience in support work in both educational and residential settings.
  • Ensure the effective operation of two or more small care homes for young people.
  • Have a high level of personal resilience and emotional and social intelligence.
  • Ideally, have a relevant qualification to allow for approval as a registered manager with CIW and Social Care Wales.
