Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a Building Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in a commercial building environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including testing and inspection of electrical services, main switchgear, and distribution systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems and equipment, and ensure that all necessary records are kept up to date.
  • Work with specialist contractors as required to complete tasks and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and senior managers to ensure that all necessary information is shared and that work is completed efficiently.
  • Participate in out-of-hours duty rosters and on-call shifts as required.

Requirements:

  • Industry-recognised training and apprenticeship in electrical work, including BS 7671 - 18th Edition.
  • Post-apprenticeship experience working in a facilities management environment.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and complete rectification measures.
  • Flexibility to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness.
  • Confidence in communication with clients and senior managers.
  • Pass CRB advanced checks.
