Job Title: Static Maintenance Electrician

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrician to cover a prestigious static site in Edinburgh City Centre.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team and take on the role of Static Maintenance Electrician. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of all associated electrical services equipment and systems within our client's premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical services in a building services environment.
  • Test and inspect electrical systems, including main switchgear and distribution systems, lighting controls, and minor works and installations.
  • Use and operate a PDA system integrated with a CAFM system to ensure the flow of information is returned within deadlines.
  • Implement planned preventative maintenance and associated work efficiently to specified requirements.
  • Communicate necessary information regarding breakdown problems, alterations to planned preventative maintenance, and technical information required.
  • Liaise and work with Specialist Contractors as required.
Requirements:
  • Industry-recognised training apprenticeship, BS 7671 Edition.
  • Post-apprenticeship experience working in an FM environment.
  • Able to diagnose faults and put forward and complete appropriate rectification measures.
  • Able to establish necessary parts/plant/materials necessary for completion of tasks.
  • Flexible attitude to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Confidence in communication with clients and senior managers.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Basic Salary up to £38,000.
  • Holidays 25 plus bank holidays.
  • Pension.
