We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Management. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our growth and margin objectives across Henderson Products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy to achieve best total cost.
  2. Build personal expertise on Henderson sourcing needs and overall marketplace.
  3. Assure alignment with sourcing strategy deployment objectives and KPI metrics.
  4. Provide strategic support and guidance for the GSS team on sourcing objectives.
  5. Assure part specifications are well defined and documented.
  6. Direct coordination with on-site quality/operations/engineering team at each location.
  7. Direct coordination with the GSS team on prospective opportunities from suppliers.
  8. Define optimal supply chain size and key performance indicators for suppliers.
  9. Lead development and implementation of effective Standards of Work (SOWs).
  10. Develop recommendations for sourcing opportunities and coordinate execution of strategic sourcing objectives.

Requirements:

Education: Four-year college degree in procurement, supply chain management, industrial management, business administration or equivalent. A. P. P., C.P.M., CPSM, CPIM, CPSC certification or active pursuit of certification is highly desirable.

Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills required to build strong teams and operate cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.

Technical Skills: 5-7 years' experience operating in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of commodity focus is key.

Computer Skills: Strong knowledge and skill in MS Office software, MRP/ERP Systems and presentation software.

Work Environment: Completes most tasks in an office environment with frequent visits to plant floor and visiting supplier locations.
