Maintenance Supervisor Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations at Abel & Cole. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical equipment systems, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of maintenance engineers to execute effective troubleshooting and planned preventative maintenance routines.
  • Ensure minimum response times to equipment breakdown and provide maintenance cover for production areas.
  • Make decisions under pressure and ensure that all repair and maintenance documentation is maintained in full compliance with regulatory guidelines, GMP, and company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance spending and identify and recommend improvements, replacements, and repairs as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an electrical and mechanical maintenance role within a commercial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical diagrams.
  • Experience of installation and maintenance of various electro-mechanical equipment/systems.
  • Hold at least level 3 City & Guild building services 'electrical installation route' and/or Level 3 Diploma in Installation of Electrotechnical systems & equipment.
