Job Summary

The Low Carbon Contracts Company is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Contract Manager to join its team. As an Assistant Contract Manager, you will play a key role in driving net zero by learning the role of Contract Manager and managing contracts that make low carbon technology investible.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your career while contributing to the UK's net zero mission. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with stakeholders, articulating technical requirements, and presenting high-quality data. You will also be involved in problem-solving, thinking creatively, and reviewing information to identify subtle nuances in contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build strong, professional relationships with stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with counterparties to meet all contractual requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a STEM degree and two years' relevant experience. You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and work collaboratively. Experience in technical, operational, or commercial contract management is highly desirable.
