**Job Title:** Senior Contract Manager

First Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to work on an initial 12-month contract basis. The role offers flexibility, with a hybrid setup of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

The successful candidate will have experience in offshore projects, specifically within offshore installation or the commercial phase of contracts. This includes deployment of Contract Management activities for the London hub, covering various offshore EPCI, T&I, FEED, and other projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer contracts in execution in accordance with best practice and company procedures;
  • Prepare tracking and reporting to ensure that the commercial and contractual requirements of contracts are met, including timely notices and correspondence;
  • Draft all contractual and commercial correspondence;
  • Advise Company and Corporate Management on main contractual risks, identifying and proposing contractual mitigation actions;
  • Negotiate terms, prepare summaries, and/or Minutes of Meeting;
  • Negotiate contractual instruments with counterparties in the best interests of the Company and in accordance with Company risk policies;
  • Support Project Management teams in determination and management of claims, preparation and evaluation of variation order requests, and drafting key project correspondence towards clients, major subcontractors, and/or other interfacing third parties;
  • Support Procurement function in review and management of subcontracts and purchase orders;
  • Have knowledge of industry standard contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs', etc.) and assist in resolution of legal and contractual matters, in coordination with relevant Corporate functions;
  • Regularly report to the Company and Corporate Management on Contract Management activities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum salary of £50,000 per annum, depending on experience;
  • Proven experience of reviewing and advising on tendering contracts and administering project contracts and effective negotiation skills;
  • Proven experience negotiating and executing offshore construction contracts;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, listening and influencing;
  • Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Team player attitude;
  • International mobility both for short missions and potentially for long-term assignments.
