Team Manager for Family and Friends Assessment

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Team Manager to work within Croydon Council's Family and Friends Assessment and Support Team.
Job PurposeThe Team Manager will be responsible for the viability and full assessment and support of friends and family members prior to approval as kinship foster carers or special guardians.
The successful candidate will provide exemplary leadership, management, and professional guidance to a team of social workers who manage a workload of friends and family assessments and support.
The Team Manager will adhere to clearly defined timescales set by the courts and work in accordance with the Fostering National Minimum Standards, Fostering Regulations 2011, Care Planning and Case Review Regulations 2013, and Special Guardianship Regulations 2005.
The role will involve ensuring the delivery of preparation training to carers and ensuring the timely presentation of assessments to the Fostering Panel and when required to the courts.
