Ribbons & Reeves, a leading education recruiter, is seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & SEMH) to join a partner school in Islington. As a SEND Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & SEMH), you will work with students who require additional support due to SEMH and SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to students with SEMH and SEN needs in a group and 1:1 setting, adapting to their individual needs and monitoring their progress.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups of students, taking into account their varying needs and abilities.
- Gain valuable experience working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
- Minimum 2:1 degree from a leading UK University.
- Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs is advantageous.
