Job Title: Lead Interior Trim Design Engineer

Location: Cranfield

Pay: £30.78 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Interior Trim Design Engineer to join a globally recognised automotive company in Cranfield. This is a long-term contract role with the potential to last several years.

  • Meet quality targets and deliver on project KPIs.
  • Utilise CAD interrogation skills to drive design excellence.
  • Develop strong time management abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous automotive design and development experience.
  • Familiarity with cost breakdown analysis and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Valid driving license with the ability to travel globally.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design and development of interior trim components.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets quality and performance targets.
  3. Develop and maintain CAD models and designs.
  4. Conduct cost breakdown analysis and provide recommendations for cost savings.
