Job Title: Lead Vehicle Interior Trim Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Vehicle Interior Trim Design Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of vehicle interior trim components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of vehicle interior trim components, including concept creation, design refinement, and prototyping.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, to ensure design solutions meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all design projects.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to designers to ensure designs meet business requirements and are feasible for production.
  • Manage and prioritize design projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Design engineering qualification and experience in automotive interior design and development.
  • Strong understanding of design for manufacturability, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel globally.
