About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fundraising and PR Coordinator to join our team at Brook Street UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of new and innovative ways to launch new events and generate PR opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the PR and Communications Director to respond to press enquiries and manage media and coverage through internal and external sources.
  • Draft press releases with the PR team and input them on the charity website.
  • Draft blog content, emails, and social media content to promote the charity's mission and events.
  • Liaise with partner charities and update the media page on the charity website, including specific areas of fundraising and awareness.
  • Create invitations and pack merchandise for events.
  • Control email signatures and phone content in line with charity brand guidelines.
  • Participate in fundraising events during weekends throughout the year, with time in lieu given.
What We Offer
  • Flexible working hours, with core hours from 10:00 to 16:30, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for events.
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (maximum 4 to be used at Christmas).
