Seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team at Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare. As a veterinary specialist in end-of-life care, you will have the opportunity to provide medical support to geriatric and terminally ill pets in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Position:

  • As a veterinarian with Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you will be responsible for providing in-home euthanasia and hospice care services to pets in need.
  • You will work closely with pet families to guide them through the end-of-life decision-making process and provide emotional support during this challenging time.
  • Your expertise in animal care and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of these beloved pets and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home euthanasia services for geriatric and terminally ill pets
  • Conduct home visits to assess the health and well-being of pets in need of hospice care
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to ensure the comfort and dignity of each pet
  • Collaborate with local veterinary clinics to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes
