We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Expert Lead to join our team at Sarfraz Group Ltd. Located in Central and Southern England, our company provides expert solutions for entrepreneurial businesses and private individuals.

As an Audit Expert Lead, you will be responsible for leading various audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with managers and partners when required.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and complex audit tasks, preparing audit files, undertaking audit planning, and leading/assisting with fieldwork.

You will also assist in work allocation and supervise more junior team members on audits, providing support, training, and reviewing their work.

In this role, you will ensure audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with Directors.

You will utilize accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Directors, and clients.

Key responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts and finalizing accounts under the overall supervision of your Line Manager, preparing corporation tax computations, and building productive working relationships within Shaw Gibbs and with clients as required.

This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified or almost qualified, with a minimum of 3 years UK Audit practice experience and some accounts experience.

Strong IT skills, specifically Excel, and the ability to pick up new IT packages quickly are essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a generous benefits package including pension, life assurance, health cash plan, retail discount scheme, electric vehicles salary sacrifice, and cycle to work scheme.
