We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Brook Street UK. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and processes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe working practices at all times, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Developing knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and associated documentation.
  • Complying with all Health & Safety Policies and instructions, actively contributing to safe behaviour and systems of work.
  • Supporting the Shift Performance Manager in delivering high-quality, risk-free products through effective deployment of WCOM/Lean Manufacturing practice.
  • Achieving shift production targets on time and to Quality system standards.
  • Diagnosing problem causes and taking corrective action.
  • Ensuring Manufacturing personnel perform Quality inspections and resolve minor Quality exceptions.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members, developing programmes, and supervising staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Evidence of using initiative to improve Performance and Health & Safety compliance, demonstrating leadership ability.
  • A willingness to undertake rotational shifts with varying patterns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
