Middlesborough (20 mile patch)

We are seeking an Electronically Biased Engineer with a background in heavy machinery or similar to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment within a 20 mile local patch.

The ideal candidate will have a lifting or heavy machinery maintenance background, be comfortable working at heights and always looking to progress. They will also have experience in troubleshooting, fault-finding and solving electrical and mechanical challenges.

The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training in radio control, IPAF, forklift certifications, harness and working at heights, and basic slinging.

The role will involve:

  • Inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing customers' overhead cranes and lifting equipment through a variety of industries
  • Troubleshooting, fault-finding and solving a multitude of electrical and mechanical challenges
  • Ensuring health and safety is strictly enforced and adhered to
