Equipment Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team at PragmatIC. The successful candidate will work closely with the Equipment Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our Deposition department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Operations and Technicians in a team environment, communicating effectively across department teams as required.
- Minimize tool downtime to exceed equipment uptime targets, working collaboratively with the Equipment team.
- Install, commission, upgrade, perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and decommission Deposition Equipment as needed.
- Support Production requirements and Operators, working on a day shift with occasional out-of-hours or weekend support as required.
- Develop and review training plans, documentation, and maintain a technical training matrix, providing training to team members as needed.
- Identify potential improvements for maintenance activities to maximize efficiency and implement these improvements where required.
- Work with Production Planning to agree on priorities and ensure demand is met.
- Maintain tool tracking systems, reports, and parts relevant for equipment overall.
- Report and present technical reports on equipment performance excursions.
- Support the efficient management and running of Cleanroom activities, including Health and Safety, 5S, and CIP's.
- Provide secondary support for other areas such as Etch, Photolithography, BEOL, Bake, Metrology, and Automation.
Requirements
- HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in an Engineering Discipline.
- Experience in Deposition processing in a volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience working within a Quality Systems environment such as ISO9000.
