About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Social Care and Education Jobs. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with severe learning disabilities in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care needs, including washing and getting ready for bed.
  • Night Shifts: Perform regular checks throughout the night to ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
  • Medical Needs: Ensure medical needs are followed and provide necessary support.
  • Safety and Environment: Create a safe environment for children and colleagues.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Conduct light housekeeping duties during night shifts.
