Job Title: Year 6 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent teaching and ensuring a positive learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting teamwork.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keep track of children's progress and report back to parents.
  • Create a positive learning environment that is safe and conducive for learning.
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for Year 6 students.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification and QTS.
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching Year 6 students.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Ability to create and present engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
