Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing students for their transition to secondary education.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, including English, Mathematics, Science, and more.
  • Prepare students for key assessments, providing guidance and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Provide guidance and pastoral support to students, helping them navigate the challenges of their final year in primary school.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 6.
  • Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
