Service Performance Team Leader

About the Role
The position of Service Performance Team Leader has arisen in the Clinical Support Care Group, Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a leader in the Outpatient Booking Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the patient experience is of the highest quality. This involves working directly with clinical areas to develop and maintain effective, efficient, and smooth-running services.
Main Responsibilities
You will be working collaboratively across all Care Groups, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work independently and use your own initiative will be essential in managing clinic templates and clinic management. The post holder will also support the management of a team of 50 WTE across Outpatient Booking Services, ensuring the delivery of effective services handling over 300,000 patient phone calls and making over 280,000 appointments per year.
Person Specification
- NVQ level 4 in Management or equivalent experience
- GCSE grade A-C in 5 subjects including Maths and English
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in hospital administration
- Extensive experience/understanding of waiting list management and Referral to Treatment and outpatient management
- Demonstrable NHS experience of leading and managing a team and service
- Proven Windows experience (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
